Yoga

COMMUNITY YOGA (DONATION BASED)

(Open/ Beginner Level) - In this class, we slow down the practice pace and guide instruction towards those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class.  Much of this class is spent breaking down fundamentals through sun salutations and other yoga poses that are essential to a Hatha and Vinyasa practice.  Props and modifications are offered to assist with proper alignment and ease into the yoga asana postures. This class prepares you as a practitioner of yoga to be safe, understand alignment, breath, mindfulness, and the basic philosophical wisdom of yoga. It's informative, fun and a great place to start or deepen your understanding. 

RESTORED

(Open/All Levels) - In this class, the focus is on the art and science of being relaxed and restored. Restorative Yoga is suitable for all students regardless of yoga experience. Restorative yoga is a gentle and mindful class that uses props to support yoga postures that are held for a longer duration to invite the release of muscle tightness, stress reduction, and the relaxation of the body, mind, and spirit. The emphasis is on muscular and structural support and comfort to create ease in the body and a quiet state of ease and grace in the mind. Soft music, dimmer lighting, essential oils, eye pillows, and massage adjustments are often offered in this class. 

Yin 

(Open/All Levels) In this practice, we will be incorporating breath work into the poses holding postures from 5 breaths to 5 minutes. You will most likely be on the floor the entire time in various poses, so do not expect this class to be a hot yoga class.. It is not a vigorous practice of movement. However, many practioners who are experiencing tightness in the body can expect the practice to be very challenging because often times holding a stretch for several minutes is more intense and full of sensation than a vigorous practice. As Yin yoga typically focuses on the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine, anyone who sits all day, has low back pain or tight hips, this practice will a great cross training to your daily life.

ALIGNED(COMING SOON)

(Open/All Levels) Wild Align is a class for everyone... it is an intentional class to come into alignment with what’s important to you in the present moment, the time on your mat that’s wildly sacred to you.

This is a balanced class that will incorporate pranayama, meditation, mindful movement, stillness and beyond. An integrative approach to your yoga practice that focuses on alignment in all parts of your body and life - physical, energetic, mindful and spiritual.

When we practice in a way that is authentically aligned with our own purpose, we show up in ways that create wild and positive change!!

FLOW

(Open/All Level) - In this Vinyasa flow class, you will begin to mindfully integrate movement with breath. This class is set to music and intelligently sequences asanas (poses) including arm balancing, inversions, twists, and deeper backbends to support the progression of your Yoga practice. We invite seasoned beginners and all levels above - to come as you are and we will meet you on your mat with modifications and adjustments that make this class accessible for all who are curious about growing their yoga practice exploring the body, the mind, and breath.

sLOW FLOW

(Open/All Level) In this class, Slow Flow offers the chance to arrive, settle in and feel the heat of purposeful, mindful movements. Taking a traditional vinyasa practice and leaving space for more creative and mindful transitions, this slow flow will challenge your equanimity while building physical and mental strength through elongated holds and controlled, fluid movements. Reaching the pinnacle of mind-body awareness and connection, this class connects you into your intuition, bringing you to your edge while growing their yoga practice exploring the body, the mind, and breath.

EMPOWER 

(Open/All Levels) - In this class, you will be introduced to a more vigorous practice that is sequenced to challenge and energize the practitioner while synchronizing the movements with breath and building heat, strength, and concentration as you flow through a powerful vinyasa sequence set to dynamic music. This class is meant to be challenging, meant for sweat, and meant to be stimulating for both the body and mind. It is recommended that this class is for advanced beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners who already have a knowledge of yoga postures.

(Open Level/Challenging but Accommodating)  - In this class, you will both challenge your body and empower your mind. This Power Flow merges HIIT and Yoga adding the use of bodyweight with cardio as an opportunity to work different muscles as a compliment and enhance your physical yoga practice. Be prepared to sweat to vibing music, mixed lighting, and uncover the physical and mental strength you’ve been seeking using fitness and yoga techniques to boost metabolism and build lean muscle. You’ll leave class feeling inspired and ready to face life’s challenges “off the mat” with a smile. This is not just a group fitness class, it ’s a way of life.

HIIT burn

(Open Level/Challenging but Accommodating)  - Burn is a high-intensity, dynamic yoga practice that incorporates interval training and cardiovascular movement into traditional yoga sequences. Student will use their own bodyweight to deepen into the power of their own yoga practice while testing both their mind and body while burning away any pre-existing  doubts or limitations
This is for the Wild Ones looking to sweat and leave each practice feeling uplifted, enough, and refreshed, 

Barre

(Open/All Levels)Barre at Wildlight  is a workout technique inspired by ballet, yoga and Pilates. This early morning class is designed to get your heart pumping and your legs shaking for a great start to your day!

Each class is a full-body, muscle endurance workout that incorporates fun music with high and low impact barre movements along with your favorite yoga poses and stretches. Each class is a full-body activator in a feel good workout. We use light weights, heavy weights, body weight, resistance bands, balls, plus much more. You will never have the same class twice!

This music driven class will change and strengthen your body in ways that other workouts can't.

SACRED 

(Open/All Levels) - In this class, you will journey through the elements in this warm slow flow vinyasa class that incorporates the sacredness of yogic and Ayurvedic wisdom with the embodiment of movement. Each class is unique, intuitively guided and set to soulful music. You will experience intention setting, slow flow vinyasa, pranayama, meditation, aromatherapy, restorative yoga, sound therapy, and other healing modalities for the body and mind. This is not just a yoga class but a ritual in your week to awaken and connect to your wholeness. 

BALANCE

(Open/All Levels) - This class blends the best of the two practice styles - FLOW & RESTORE! Start the first half of the class in a Vinyasa flow that warms and strengthens the body and then the second half of the class in restorative postures that reduces stress, nourish the body, and promote an environment for the body and mind to heal itself. This class uses props and is often set with music, candles, may use aromatherapy, and offers modifications and adjustments. It is a great recovery class and excellent to reduce burnout and stress reduction while still feeling like you worked out. Sometimes we need a little ease, to do less and be more!

SOUND 

(Open Level) In this class, we blend our BALANCE class with a multi sensory yoga experience emphasizing both music, sound, and movement. This class introduces our SoundOff™ headphones to eliminate all external noise allowing you to be seamlessly guided through a yoga practice sequenced with a curated soundscape of progressive beats, trance and ambient music to provide a deeper experience within.  The first half of this class invites a FLOW that warms and strengthens the body and then transitions into restorative postures that reduce stress and nourish the body and mind. This class will offer props, modifications, and adjustments throughout the practice with an environment set with candles, aromatherapy, essential oils.  Please pre-register as this class is limited to 20 students. 

ENERGIZED

(all levels) Rise with the Sun...

Power Yoga relies much more on synchronized breathing with each movement to produce beautiful, flowing patterns of motion and energy. This practice will build endurance, strengthen and challenge your mind & body. The dynamic mix of heated postures and surrender will challenge you to your edge and encourage you to reach beyond. Modifications are always offered for less intense and more advanced pose options.  Some come for class seeking a workout, but eventually, by the end of class, not only has the body slowed and calmed itself, but so has the breath, heart, and mind.
