REWILD COLOMBIA

REWILD COLOMBIA - FEBRUARY 19th, 2025

What makes this special:

Imagine a week in the raw nature of the green mountains and secluded beaches of Colombia. Daily yoga and meditation practices high up in the mountains or by the sea. Nurturing food and beverages from the land. Personal and small group discussions. Visualize a welcoming and harmonizing sacred floral bath, sound healing sessions, guided breathwork, a soulful music festival, and a cacao forest bathing followed by a traditional ceremony. Enjoying time and space in community, and engaging in nurturing and grounding conversations.

This transformational retreat is here to help deepen the connection to our inner wisdom, a journey to connect back to ourselves. A space for personal exploration to reconnect with our true nature, as we learn to embody the qualities of the natural elements. This is a time to ReWild – to get back to our natural essence.

The offering:

We begin this journey by cultivating mindful awareness through Yoga, breath, sound, and ecstatic movement to connect with the masculine energy that empowers us. Then we will go within ourselves through meditation, nature encounters and ancestral wisdom to connect with the feminine energy that sustains us.

Through this journey we will embody and integrate these two sacred energies, reborn in union, letting go of our deepest fears and limitations, grounding ourselves through the elemental wisdom of earth, water, fire, and air -in a dance of celebration towards the new dawn of our ReWilded Being.

PAGAMENTO:

The pagamento is an indigenous practice, a ritual offering, and one of the most important spiritual practices in all the towns of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. A spiritual leader, a Mamo, performs the pagamento. This practice is associated with the vision of the perpetual motion of energy.

The art of giving and receiving, immersed in all the movements of nature, is the origin of this ritual. This practice is considered essential for the development of life. The ritual offering is a symbolic act based on thankfulness, on the cycle of giving and receiving between human beings and nature.

The Pagamento is related to the conception that one is born from Mother Earth and therefore takes on a commitment to care for the natural world. Caring for Mother Earth is a way in which we also take care of ourselves.

We will warmly welcome you on Wednesday, in the afternoon. It is highly recommended to arrive during daylight, so (well) before 5 PM is the most comfortable.

We begin in the mountains, and the road is partly unpaved. We will start the retreat with a welcoming and introductory round around the fire  in the early evening, after having offered you a nice welcome dinner.

The retreat starts full on Thursday morning. We adventure to the land and river on Sunday Morning.

Tuesday is the last day of the retreat. Guests who want to make use of the present to stay a day longer, can stay another night and enjoy for example the extra optional activities mentioned before...

Are you ready to ReWild?

In light and grace,

Jeremy, Pamela, and the ReWild Retreat Family
